Operational Status
At BVD, we have always been committed to providing safe, clean and well-maintained travel stops that help get our drivers back on the road quickly. In light of the developing COVID-19 situation, and keeping in mind the health and safety of our team members and our customers, we have implemented some changes to do our part to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
The well being of our team members and our valued customers is of the upmost importance. We understand the trucking industry’s vital role in keeping logistics moving during this time and we take our role within this supply chain very seriously.
First and foremost, we have implemented more frequent and vigorous cleaning/disinfecting efforts in all our locations beyond the normal protocol.

What other products and/or services are being affected?
BVD is actively working to increase and maintain the distribution of certain high-demand in-store merchandise. We are committed to keeping our sites fully stocked with the products our drivers expect us to keep on hand.
Are you going to close your locations?
Currently, all our BVD locations are open for customers. To be able to provide the best experience for our customers, we have chosen to continue to provide food service through drive-through and carry out only.
Are you closing your showers?
Private shower rooms are still available. We know that this is a valuable service to drivers and will maintain our current procedures to keep this available for our customers. We will continue to monitor the situation and make the changes necessary to help keep our customers and employees safe.
What is BVD doing to keep locations clean during this time?
We are employing vigorous and frequent cleaning/disinfecting measures in all areas of our stores. Additional hand sanitizing stations are being implemented where possible. Also where applicable we are allocating additional labor to help with the increased cleaning tasks.
Are self-serve condiments still available?
For now, we have removed our self-serve condiment stations. Customers can help themselves to our pre-packaged condiments. Driver lounges will also be temporarily closed, this is to abide by the governments recommendation when it comes to social gatherings.
This situation is evolving very quickly, and we are working with multiple organizations, partners and within government guidelines. We will update and adapt our response as the situation changes, but rest assured we are taking this very seriously and BVD is committed to making sure we navigate this as best as possible.

- All stores open 24 Hours.
- All open stores fueling gas, diesel, and DEF.
- Showers at all locations are open 24 Hours.
- Coffee is available 24 Hours.
- All self-serve food stations, including roller grills are closed. Pre-packaged deli food and in house food is available for purchase.
