This Privacy Policy governs your use of the BVD Petroleum mobile app (“App”) provided by BVD Petroleum, a division of BVD Group (“we,” “us,” “our”). It supplements the main BVD Group Privacy Policy and applies specifically to mobile app users (truck drivers, fleet members). For other services (web, email), refer to the full policy.
2. Information We Collect
a. Personal Identifiers
– Name, email, phone number
– BVD Fuel Card details (type: Tchek, EFS, QuikQ; Card Number)
– Account credentials for login
b. Location Data
– Real-time GPS when using the station locator
– IP address and coarse location (for analytics/security)
c. Transaction Data
Site Details, Transaction date/time, Transaction details like Quantity and Price, Payment method, Card Type
d. Device & Usage Data
– Mobile device ID, OS version, app version
– Usage analytics (screens visited, timestamps)
– Crash logs and diagnostic feedback
3. How We Use Collected Data
We use your information to:
– Provide core services (locating stations, digital fueling, virtual cards, receipts)
– Enhance user experience and app reliability
– Generate site alerts (closure notifications, amenities updates)
– Conduct analytics and app performance monitoring
– Ensure security and prevent fraud
– Comply with legal, tax, and audit requirements
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
4. Legal Basis & Consent
Your use of the App implies consent to data collection and processing for stated purposes. You may:

– Within BVD Group: fuel processing, billing, account management

Any third-party processing follows strict contractual compliance with applicable privacy laws.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as:
– You maintain an active account
– Necessary for app functionality, billing, or legal obligations
Diagnostics and anonymized data may be stored longer for analysis.

However, no system offers absolute security.
